School is back in session: Are your family's vaccinations up-to-date?
As of September 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommend a standard schedule of immunizations for children and adults in the United States to protect against various diseases. Please note these vaccination schedules and recommendations do change based on the CDC's and the AAP's latest data. So it's important to speak with FCMG to make sure you are doing what's best for your family when it comes to immunizations.
For your convenience, and noting that the new school year is just around the corner, we've listed below the primary immunizations recommended for children. (Again, please DO consult with your FCMG provider to verify your child's current vaccination status and an appropriate vaccination schedule.)

Hepatitis B (HepB): A series of three doses typically given at birth, 1-2 months, and 6-18 months.
-

And what about Covid-19 vaccinations for children?
We suggest you review the current CDC guidelines, as of July 17, 2023, and confirm as much with your FCMG care provider.
