  • Carrie Driscoll, Executive Assistant

    Carrie Driscoll is the Executive Assistant for FamilyCare Medical Group and has been working for the organization since 2015. Carrie is an AAPC Certified Professional Coder.  Carrie is also responsible for managing multiple incentive programs with insurance companies, closing gaps in care, reporting and analyzing data to ensure we are meeting our goals and thresholds for different payors.

  • Karen Teplitsky, Laboratory Manager

    Karen Teplitsky has been Laboratory Manager of FCMG Clinical Laboratories since 2013.  As a member of the FCMG Management Team, Karen is responsible for all Laboratory Operations.  She began her career in Buffalo, NY before relocating to Syracuse with her husband and 3 children.  Karen earned her master’s degree in Health Science Administration and Policy from New School University in New York City and her Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY.  Before joining FamilyCare Medical Group she set up and managed medical practice laboratories at Family Practice Associates in Liverpool, NY, and CNY Family Care in East Syracuse.

  • David Barletta

    Chief Financial Officer

    David Barletta serves as the President and CEO of PRL, leveraging 40 years of experience in leadership and financial management. Concurrently, he acts as the chief financial officer for Family Care Medical Group. David holds a CPA designation and earned both his Master's degree and undergraduate degree from Lemoyne College where he served as a professor for 25 years. He is a proud father of four children. David’s previous experience includes working with prominent organizations such as Coca Cola, Waste Management, and KPMG, where he contributes his expertise and leadership.

  • Kim Dynka

    Director of Business Services

    Kim Dynka is the Director of Business Services and has been working for FamilyCare Medical Group since 2002.  She focuses on corporate compliance for the organization.   Kim is also responsible for managing multiple incentive programs with insurance companies, as well as assisting in contract negotiations and reimbursement initiatives.  She is also responsible for clinician on-boarding, group purchasing and special projects.   She earned her Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from Boston College and an undergraduate degree in Healthcare Administration from SUNY Empire State.

  • Anna Arefyev

    Clinical Pharmacist

    Anna Arefyev serves as a Clinical Pharmacist for FamilyCare Medical Group. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher University. Prior to joining FamilyCare Medical Group, she worked in various pharmacy settings including hospital, community, and long-term care. As part of the team at FamilyCare Medical Group, she works collaboratively with patients, their families and clinicians to maximize medication adherence and optimize therapy using an evidence-based patient-centered approach with a focus of empowering individuals with comprehensive knowledge about their medications. She believes that informed patients are better equipped to manage their health effectively, leading to improved adherence, outcomes, and quality of life.

  • Michelle Menzel

    Controller

    Michelle Menzel is the Controller for FamilyCare Medical Group.  She is responsible for the financial reporting of FamilyCare Medical Group.  Michelle earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from State University of New York College at Brockport.

  • Allison Harrison

    IT Project Specialist

    Allison Harrison is the IT Project Specialist for FamilyCare Medical Group. Allison performs functions within the electronic medical records system to help the offices utilize the system efficiently and correctly.  Allison is also responsible for managing multiple incentive programs with insurance companies, closing gaps in care, reporting, and analyzing data to ensure we are meeting our goals and thresholds for different payors. 
     
    Allison earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Le Moyne college and has worked for FamilyCare Medical Group since 2011.
  • Katie Whipple, MBA

    Director of Information Technology

    Katie Whipple is the Director of Information Technology and has been working for FamilyCare Medical Group since 2005.  She focuses on optimizing our electronic health records techonology to help physicians better manage their patients, improve quality outcomes, and maximize efficiency.  She eanred her Master's degree in Business Administration and undergraduate degree in finance and operations management from Le Moyne College.

  • Jennifer Sprague

    Director of Clinical Programs and Population Health

    Jennifer Sprague is the Director of Clinical Programs and Population Health for FamilyCare Medical Group. She is responsible for overseeing FamilyCare Medical Group’s Palliative Care, Nurse Intensivist, Transitional Care Management and Chronic Kidney Disease clinical savings programs. Jennifer is an AAPC Certified Professional Coder, Certified Practice Facilitator through the University of Buffalo and is currently working on completing her Bachelor of Health Sciences at Excelsior University in Albany, New York.  Prior to joining FamilyCare Medical Group, Jennifer was the Manager of Population Health and Quality Improvement at Crouse Medical Practice.

    Lauren Brown

    Clinical Pharmacist

    Lauren Brown is a Clinical Pharmacist for FamilyCare Medical Group. Lauren works collaboratively with patients, clinicians, and their support teams to encourage and facilitate medication optimization. With a focus on education, medication therapy management and quality adherence measures, the clinical pharmacy team strives to improve overall patient care and safety.
    Lauren earned her PharmD from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in New York. Prior to joining FamilyCare Medical Group, Lauren worked in the community pharmacy setting where she helped to build and implement several clinical programs. She has over a decade of pharmacy management experience and serves as a preceptor for pharmacy students.
