FCMG's Dr. Mark Pisik Pays It Forward Through Mentorship!

Dr. Mark Pisik, a Le Moyne College alum, cares for patients of all ages at FamilyCare Medical Group. In addition, has spent nearly three decades contributing to the future of healthcare by mentoring students in Le Moyne’s Physician Assistant (PA) Studies Program. As a longtime instructor, Dr. Pisik helps bridge the gap between classroom learning and clinical experience, modeling professionalism, empathy, and cura personalis — care for the whole person.

Dr. Pisik is one of several alumni highlighted in the summer issue of Le Moyne's New Heights magazine who are committed to training the next generation of healthcare providers at a time when the U.S. faces a growing shortage of workers in the field. Their mentorship ensures students develop the confidence and practical skills needed to deliver patient-centered care across diverse medical settings.
