November is National Diabetes Awareness Month

FCMG joins health professionals around the U.S. in recognizing November as National Diabetes Awareness Month.

Diabetes is a disease that occurs when a person's blood glucose ― also called blood sugar ― is too high. This condition affects about 37 million Americans, including adults and youth. Additionally, Diabetes can damage the eyes, kidneys, nerves, and heart, and is linked to some types of cancer.
