Maura Stanton, BSN, APRN, NP

Maura Stanton is a certified nurse practitioner in family health who started working with the outpatient palliative care team through FamilyCare Medical Group in August of 2024. She started her nursing career at Upstate University Hospital after graduating from Nazareth College obtaining her BSN in 2010. She has a background in critical care and emergency medicine. She completed her MSN degree through Upstate Medical University in 2018 and began her APRN career in palliative medicine with the adult inpatient palliative care service at Upstate in 2020 embedded in the Neuroscience ICU. She has since obtained her Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse certification and is looking forward to the opportunity to bring Palliative Care to our community.
